Your Proficient Flight training session is well planned and tightly
scheduled. You receive individual instruction throughout your training,
spending at least half of your training time in the simulator.
Two-day
Recurrent Instrument Training – Insurance Approved –
$1295
Our most extensive
course for instrument-rated pilots, you log a minimum of eight hours
in the simulator. Day one of your training focuses on completing
the requirements for an Instrument Proficiency Check (IPC.) Shoot
many approaches in variable conditions with both full and partial
panel. Once IPC requirements are met, you review aircraft systems
and complete emergency training. Complete your Proficient Flight
training course by flying LOFT (line-oriented flight training) scenarios.
LOFT scenarios are designed as high workload, single-pilot IFR flights.
During your flight you may experience emergencies, equipment failures,
or both. LOFT scenarios are a great opportunity to put your skills
to the test.
One-day
IFR Refresher – Insurance Approved – $695
A short course
for instrument-rated pilots, you log a minimum of four hours in
the simulator. Complete in one day, your training focuses on completing
the requirements for an Instrument Proficiency Check (IPC.) Shoot
many approaches in variable conditions with both full and partial
panel. Experience a realistic vacuum failure and learn to work more
effectively with ATC.
VFR Emergency Training - $350
(group rates available)
A four-hour
course for VFR-rated pilots. Experience the anxiety of the weather
closing in on you and learn how to safely return to VFR conditions.
Practice emergency procedures, including equipment and engine failures
while in flight.
